Cannot Sort Data Table

Hi all,

Apologies if this exists somewhere else but I haven't managed to find it.  I am trying to do some simple search/sort/filter on a data table and and having loads of problems using certain "fields". I am sure this is down to the field type but I don't know how to get around that problem. As below image, I want to be able to filter the table by selecting an item from the drop down box and have it only show items where the selected value shows in either of the three "value" fields (that are actually Value1, Value2 and Value3... I have just renamed them all to "value" as thats what the users want to see)details.png

I am perfectly able to filter by any of the text in the "Capability Statement" column... but when I try and use these fields its throwing an error.  These values are in a collection as below images show...

And if I drill into those "values"...

How am I able to use these fields to sort / filter?

Thanks very much indeed!

Re: Cannot Sort Data Table

Hi @Black3y ,

Assuming your Value columns all have the same structure, an example for sorting by Value1

Sort(
   AddColumns(
      Capabilities,
      "Value_1",
      Value1.Value
   ),
   Value_1,
)
