Cannot restore app version because it will not load my previous versions.

The current version of my app keeps crashing before I can even delete the problematic section of the app so I want to restore a previous version of my app.

1. I open PowerApps studio and select "File" --> "Save"

2. I select the "See all versions" button.

3. Edge opens to the App Versions screen, but I get this cryptic error.

"There was an issue encounted for 'powerappsfe-prod-unitedstates.trafficmanager.net'; Cannot fulfill the request"

I can view the Versions of other Apps, but for some reason, the app I am working on will not allow me to view my versions.

This is a large App with 25-30 screens. It has approximately 500 versions. I need to be able to rollback my previous backup.

Hi apric442,

Please try to restore your app versions on your side. A fix has been applied and I guess that it should be working now.

Please let me know your current situation.

Hi apric442,

I am following this documentation about “Restore an app to a previous version”, seems that I don’t get any error messages when I restore an app to a previous version, I am also running on Edge.
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/restore-an-app/

Not sure if it is an issue related to the app size. Do you have a small sized app? Could you try to restore a small sized app to see if you would get the same message?

I have used Edge and Chrome. Neither allow me to restore the app.

I can restore smaller sized apps using that documentation.

I believe that the problem is that I have too many versions or my app is too large. I am not able to browse my versions. As soon as I select the Version tab, this error is displayed.

If I select a smaller app with only a few versions, I can browse my versions and restore previous versions.

I was able to find a work around which allowed me to stop my app from crashing long enough for me to find and fix the crashing, but I am still unable to even browse the versions of my app.

Hi apric442,

I don’t have such a large sized app to reproduce this issue on my side.
