Hi All,
have a little SharePoint online list that I customized with powerapps. One of the features is that its showing into 2 other lists and displays it on the screen within the form. The odd thing is that although i am using an account (service account) that has full access to list Y, its not showing me the value, unless i give the user (the real user who is logged in) at least read access to that particular item that he should get.
In other words, Jack is watching the form "X" a service user is getting values to this form from list "Y". This should display it because service user has full control over list Y. but strangly it works only if Jack gets at least "read"... why is this?
the value is displayed with: Filter('MYLISTNAME', Title = (value2look4)).'MyDesiredColumn'
-where the mylistname si displayed as an connection, in my app, with the service user
Thanks
The SharePoint connector uses the logged in user's access, so if the user doesn't have access to a list or an item in the list it will not be return in the connector.
hi@Jeff_Thorpe , thanks for response, wonder why do i have the possibility in powerapps to choose the user that will open the list, ...(via connector)?
