Cant get dropdown Onupdate working

I have a form with 2 dropdown fields but they wont update in the Sharepoint list. The rest of the form does. I believe the OnUpdate needs to be fixed, but i've tried alot and cant figure it out.

The items codes of both dropdowns are:

Distinct(Filter('Listname'; Discipline = Dropdown6.Selected.Result);'KPI_naam (KPI_naam0)')

I tried using

On the onupdate but nothing works.

Result and value both give errors telling me they expect a text instead of a record.

The other 2 just dont put the text in.

When i use Dropdown6.Selected.Result on a textfield within the application it does see the text and shows it. It just wont save it to the list.

Anyone knows how i can fix this issue?

Re: Cant get dropdown Onupdate working

Hi @EricHulshof

What is the type of column that you are trying to save values to?

Also, can you confirm if you are putting these values in the Update property of the datacard?

Dropdown6.Selected.Result should work in case of text field.

Hope this Helps!
