Cant search to the created by column?

Goodmorning all,

I have a question about the created column of a SharePoint list. I want to search this column in the searchbox of my gallery. When i build my search, i can use almost every (text) column but i can't search the "created by" column.

Search created column.png

SortByColumns(
    Search(
        Filter(
            xxxx,
            !Toggle1.Value = true || 'xxxx' = false
        ),
        TextSearchBox1.Text,
        "Title","Content","Subject",
    ),
    "Created",
    If(
        SortDescending1,
        Ascending,
        Descending
    )
)

I see only the created column instead of the created by column? My list is in Dutch so i see 'Gemaakt door'

Re: Cant search to the created by column?

Try something like this:

SortByColumns(
Search(
Filter(
AddColumns(xxxx, "CreatedByFullName", 'Created By'.'Full Name'),
!Toggle1.Value = true || 'xxxx' = false
),
TextSearchBox1.Text,
"Title","Content","Subject", "CreatedByFullName"
),
"Created",
If(
SortDescending1,
Ascending,
Descending
)
)

Just keep in mind that AddColumns is limited by the delegation limit. So if you have more than 500 records (or at max 2000), we will have to use an alternate solution.

Re: Cant search to the created by column?

Do you want to search or sort by that column?

Re: Cant search to the created by column?

I got an error: the specified column createdbyfullname doens't exist.

I see the warning for the delegation.

Re: Cant search to the created by column?

@PowerAddict Yesterday the solutions work perfect but this morning, all my apps give an invalid datasource.

After soms trouble shooting, i remove the :

            AddColumns(
                Incidenten,
                "CreatedByFullName",
                'CreatedBy'.DisplayName

After this, the apps works fine. Very very strange because the apps works fine yesterday. Can you find why the datasource is suddenly invalid?
