A following instructions per Build a canvas app - Learn | Microsoft Docs
And once make.powerapps.com is done loading from the Excel data source, the base canvas app is supposed to look like this per documentation above...
Instead it renders without the images like this...
If I play the app, and attempt adding a record with an image, the monitor flags with an error...
Make sure that you unzipped both the Excel file and the folder of images to the same place. The folder "Contoso Site Tracking Images" needs to be in the same folder as the Excel file in OneDrive for Business. The images are referenced using relative addressing from the folder where the Excel file is stored. In your case the program isn't finding them.

Yes, both the Excel file and the folder "Contoso Site Tracking Images" are in the same folder location
And they are both in a folder inside your OneDrive for Business? If so, then it should work. The Excel file includes relative addresses for the images in the images folder and gets them from there. They should show if they are in the right place.
*should* but it doesn't.
I saw another post reporting the same issue for the same app. I wonder if it's reproducible by other users - https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/mslearn-build-app-solution/raw/master/downloads/Contoso-Site-Tracki...
Try it if you get a chance. Curious if you are able to get it to work. Should take you a minute or less to do.
Thanks!
I tried it before my first reply and it works for me. The key is to check that you are running the app in a spot where the relative address of the images in the Excel file points to the images.
You on Windows 11 using Edge?
I tried to rebuild the app using a laptop that’s a less secure profile. It works!
So I suspect there is something I need switched on or off in my corporate security layers to allow the images to render.
