Capture Additional Button must become active once a record has been saved.

Hi All

Please note I have a button called capture additional details on a COIVID-19 details form .

I want this button to only become active active once I have saved a Case on the form .to save the form I use the formula :SubmitForm('COVID-19 EditForm');If('COVID-19 EditForm'.ErrorKind=ErrorKind.None,Navigate('COVID-19 Gallery',ScreenTransition.None))

I have been trying one or two formulas on the button`s Display mode with no luck .By default the button is set to DisplayMode.Disabled

How can I achieve this thanks

What is your current formula on the displaymode of the button.
I suggest you navigate to another screen after submission then follow these:

1. OnVisible of the Screen of the form: Set(MyButton, false)

2. Set a variable OnSuccess property of the Form: Set(MyButton, true)

3. Then on the Displaymode the Capture Additional Button:

If(MyButton,DisplayMode.Edit,DisplayMode.Disabled)

@eka24 : My current formula at the moment is Display mode. Disabled .

I have done as you suggested but when I save the record and I go back to edit the form the capture additional details is still greyed out but that is the moment I want to to start showing as activated.

where I have missed it iam not sure ??onvisble-formula.PNGonsuccess-formula.PNGButton displayMode-Formula.PNGto edit form folua where i expect the capture details to activate.PNG

What is remaining is that when you submit form, navigate to another screen.
Example:
SumitForm(EditFom1);Navigate(DiffrentScreen)

That is important is multiple items could be submitted to the database more than once.

It also activates the Onvisible formula to reactivate the button

@eka24 I already do that: below is my save button formula but it is not working

SubmitForm('COVID-19 EditForm');If('COVID-19 EditForm'.ErrorKind=ErrorKind.None,Navigate('COVID-19 Gallery',ScreenTransition.None))??

Change the Displaymode the Capture Additional Button:

If(MyButton=false,DisplayMode.Edit,DisplayMode.Disabled)
