Hello i would like to change the date format both in the date picker and in the text above.

In the text above im just using today() for now

I want it to be DD/MM/YYYY

Use, Text(today(), "DD/MM/YYYY")

And in the datepicker, you change the 'Language' under Advanced properties to e.g. 'en-GB'

Does this solve your problem?

This part with text field did not work

but the part with the datepicker worked well

You need to close the brackets on the 'Text()', so add another ')' at the end.

Does it work now?

For the datepicker, you can also put "dd/mm/yyyy" into the Format property.

use it all the time, works like a charm.

indeed, but in the past I came across issues when building a complex financial app, and calculating whether some stuff happened in specific financial quarters.

This was solved by aligning the 'Language' of the datepickers instead of the format of them.

There were also issues with browser settings and stuff, which were then overruled by the datepicker 'Language'.

- All the datepickers within your calculations need the same 'Language' property then.

But maybe that's resolved to this day.

Thanks for sharing, good to know!
I haven't come across this scenario yet, can be useful to consider.

with closed brackets it showed this hmm ?

Don't use capital letters and your formula will work 🙂

Apparently it's case sensitive
