Change data type in EditForm to numbers

Hi,

I created a simple app in the style of a to-do list. I connect a .xlsx file in my Google drive, where I have the columns 'To-do name' and 'Importance'. The Importance column is formatted in excel as a number. It was however formatted as text in the beginning - maybe this is part of the problem?

I linked this table in PA and use an EditForm to add / edit the to-dos. Now I want to use a slider to adjust the value of Importance. However, it is shown as a "Field type: String" and therefore, I cannot select a slider for it.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks a lot!

Rob

Solved it myself. Had to delete and re-add the data source and press refresh data source after that. Now it's formatted correctly 🙂
