Change default value on click

Hi All,

 

Can anyone help me with how can i change if and only if the user selects the dropdown value to specific key word, and also navigate him to next screen showing him the same selected default value.

 

i have tried bit here is what i have come across the formula. Can anyone please correct me if im doing wrong. 

 

If(Dropdown1.Selected.'Department Name ' = "Others", Default = "Others", Default = Parent.Default))

Hi @Tapesh ,

I think you are fairly close - you do not need to repeat "Default".

If(
   Dropdown1.Selected.'Department Name ' = "Others",
   "Others", 
   Parent.Default
)

 You also have an extra bracket on the end.

Hi, 

 

Thanks for the solution, i figured it out i hope your logic and formula is correct in perspective with my solution, however, i found issue what i was missing. 

 

That was AllowEmptySelection property to be set to true and it worked well. Thanks
