Changing Column from Dropdown to Checkbox in SharePoint causes issue in Powerapps

Hi,

My powerapps Designer is showing error when I changed the column from Dropdown(single selection) to Checkbox(MultiSelect) in SharePoint.

1) Created a column in SharePoint of type Choice and Display Type is Dropdown (For single selection)

2) Create a PowerApp form for the list.

3) Converted the Drop-Down Menu to Checkboxes

4) Refresh Datasource, Removed and readded Datacard.  

Once I did with the above step, My App showing below error and it is not working.

Do I need to change anything else?.

Now that the combo box allows multiple selections, the result is a table (as shown in your screenshot). To display this in a label, tey something like this:

Text property of label = Concat(ComboBox.SelectedItems, Value&",")

Or in your case,
Concat(ThisItem.'Project Contains', Value&",")

Please note you might have to replace Value with something else. Make use of the suggestions that show up when you type:
ThisItem.'Project Contains'

My issue is not related to setting the value to the label or Concat function. 

The issue is when Field Type dropdown is converted into Choice in the Sharepoint List, The power app ComboBox is not working. Do we need to change any settings in the power app also???.

Where exactly are you using ThisItem.'Project Contains' in your original screenshot? Ais it the text property of a label or the items property or the defaultselecteditems property of a combo box?

I was able to reproduce your situation. If I changed the data source of the form to something else and then changed it back to the original data source OR if I simply created a new form, it worked fine.

The main reason I created a new form was to validate or compare the data card values of my current form with the new one that had no errors. The values were exactly the same.

Let me know if these are acceptable approaches for you.

Thank you That worked..

I created a new data source for the same list And Removed the data card readded it once again. Now, this worked.

But not sure, when we refresh the original data source why powerapp did not auto-discovered. Is it a Bug?.

Seems like Power Apps doesn't "trigger" (for the lack of a better word) the connection between data cards and data source if the data source changes. Seems as much a bug to me as it does to you but I will let someone from Microsoft comment on that.
