Changing data type of datepicker control

Hi,

I'm having a working solution that is actively used by my employees. Now I have to make an adjustment so people can register thei workload based on hours instead of full days.

So I in SharePoint I changed the Date Picker from 'Date Only' to 'Date and Time', which gives the result I want in the SharePoint list.

Now when editing the Power App, the Date Picker control does not update from 'Date Only' to 'Date and Time'.

I already tried to refresh the data connection, removing and adding the field back to the edit form, but all without succes.

Does anyone has a solution for this?

What you did should work.  Just as a test: what happens if you create a new Edit Form?  Does the time control appear?  If yes, you could cut and paste from the new edit form and change the formula references in your existing form.

@mdevaney  when I create a new EditForm the control appears correctly. I'll give it a try what you are suggesting, if it works, I'll mark your answer as the solution.

But it is far from ideal to have to update my app like this...

Your original method always works for me.  Not sure what happened in your case, but at least you have a fix 😉

I got it to work. 🙂

I removed the datepicker controls, I saved and republished the form. I re-added the controls and *pooooof* they are added as 'Date and Time' controls.
