In our model-driven app, we have a parent entity and its associated child entity. On the parent's form, we have a subgrid showing a view (list) of all the related records for the child entity. This works as expected. When I change the subgrid control to "Show Chart Only" and use one of the charts created on the child entity, the resulting chart is not showing the same related records, but rather displaying all child records for all parent records. Basically the "Only Related Records" filter setting on the view used by the subgrid is not being respected when the subgrid is displaying the chart.
Is there something I am missing here, or does the chart functionality of a subgrid on a form not work on these new updated forms (new unified interface / model-driven apps)?
Any insight is appreciated...thanks.
Hi @terry_schmidt,
Would you please share a screnshot of the issues you mentioned?
From your description, it seems the relationship between the Parent form and the Subgrid control has broken when switching to Chart.
There should be controls or features to combine the chart with the current record of the parent form.
Regards,
Michael
