I have a column with the answers yes or no in it.

How can I build a graph to give me the  # of times Yes or No are displayed in the column?

For example - Yes = 23 , No = 45.

Thank you!

Re: Charts

Hi Lp939,

Are you using a SharePoint list as your data source? What is the column type? Is it a Text column or a Yes/No(check box) column?

As a workaround, I use a TextBox control instead of a Chart control. I have a Yes/No(check box) column in my SharePoint list. In the App, I use a CountIf function to get the number of Yes/No in the list. I add a TexBox on the App and set its Text property to: CountIf(DataSource,Yes/No=true). Then I would get the number of “Yes” in my list.

Best regards,

Re: Charts

What kind of graph/chart do you need to show?

Assuming that you need a pie chart, and assuming that your data source name is "MyData" and the column name is "Answer", you can do this:

    PieChart1.Items = AddColumns(GroupBy(MyData, "Answer", "Group"), "Count", CountRows(Group))

        Labels = Answer

        Series = Count

I hope this helps.
