Check Box value not updated after save of form

Hi Dears,

I have a powerapps form which saves data to Sharepoint List. It has a check-box data card in it. I click on New, click on check-box (ticked) and save form. The value is updated in the sharepoint list. But, the moment i click on save, the check box tick disappears. Also, in Edit Mode, the check box appears as not ticked.

In the update property of data card (Bank Transfer_DataCard1) i have put - BTCheckbox.Value

Kindly help me urgently as I am unable to resolve this.CheckBox1_Properties.PNG

As per your screenshot, you are updating the OnSuccess property of the form, is it a requirement?

I replicated the same scenario to see if the checkbox input is getting updated and it was successfully saved and updated on my PowerApps. Please check for the below validations:
1) The Default property of your Checkbox control, is set to "Parent.Default".
2) The update property of DataCard is set to "Checkbox1.Value".
3) I have nothing on the OnSuccess property of my Edit form.
4) The submit button has the "OnSelect" property as "SubmitForm(Form1)".

Please write the formulas without Quotes(").

As per my Screenshot, I have created an edit form based on Gallery Item selection.

Hope this Helps!

Re: Check Box value not updated after save of form

@cyberco01

On the Save button, please add an action to refresh the data source, so that you can see the latest value.

Expression: SaveForm(Form); Refresh(DataSource)

Hope this Helps!

Re: Check Box value not updated after save of form

Hey @cyberco01

Please replace SaveForm function with SubmitForm and this should work.

Please note that in refresh(dataSource), the dataSource is actually the name of the data source (in this case it should be the name of your sharepoint list)

Hi @yashag2255 ,

I did as suggested, still it did not work. on click of save, the ticked check box becomes unticked. Any other setting that I need to take care. My check box is a data card.
