Check Events of a Room Email

Dear Community,

Our Rooms in our organization are connected to emailadresses. Whenever a colleague books a meeting it shows up in the Event Calendar of the Room's emailaddress.

My plan was to create two colored circles

  • Red if (currently) the room has been booked
  • Green if (currently) the room is available (free).

I'm having a hard time creating this. I've tried to get a few resources from the template Book a Room. But whenever I create collections then they're empty. I'm also having a hard time believing if this actually is possible? Thanks for the help.

Re: Check Events of a Room Email

Hi @Fouad ,

Could you describe more clearly about where display these two colored circles?

Do you mean that after user select meeting time, not display the available room list, display all room list with two colored circles instead?

If so, I've made a similar test for your reference:
1)insert a gallery in RoomSelectScreen

2)insert circle inside the gallery

3)set the gallery's Items:

4)set the circle's Fill:

If(ThisItem.Address in AvailableRoomEmailName.Email,Green,Red)

Then, if the room is in availableroomlist, the circle will become green, or else will become red.

Re: Check Events of a Room Email

Thanks for your reaction. Would it be possible to create this Book a Room app and get the data of AvailableRoomList to another app?
Like for example would it be possible to add this code in Fill of the circle but then in another app based of the information from Book a Room app?

Re: Check Events of a Room Email

I just need to get the same data as Book a Room has in another Canvas App.. and unfortunately I can't seem to get that working.
