@Yoursnani

What is the Default of your Checkbox control?  If this is in a form, it should be based on the Parent.Default value of the datacard that it is in.  If your underlying column is a yes/no, then your checkbox Default should simply be Parent.Default.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Okay, you had mentioned customizing a form, so it was assumed you had a form.

What is the default property of the checkbox??

Hi @Yoursnani ,

What do you mean about “using checkbox out of datacard”? Could you please provide some screenshots about your form(especially this checkbox and Yes/No column datacard)?

Since you mentioned that you replace using a checkbox control, does your form look like below(YesNo1 is a Yes/No column in my list)?

If yes, I assume that you have edited the Update property of this card successfully, then please try to set the Default property of this checkbox to “Parent.Default”, see my screenshot for detailed location:

Then save and publish the form again, refresh your SP webpage to check the result this time.

Same as other post...why is your checkbox outside of the datacard and what are you trying to get to?

What is the Item property of your form?
