Choice field from another list

Hi all,

I'm in need of your clever troubleshooting power again.

I have a customised form where one of the fields  selects the value from another list.

The field in the SP list (on which the form is based) is a text field. Through PowerApps, I connected to the other list and created a dropdown that references that list.

It all works great *except* it doesn't save the entry. Everything else in the form saves but just not that field.

In the Item section I use the following code SortByColumns('ListName',"Title")

In the update section I use Dropdown6.Selected.Title

Am I missing something? Its probably something really small, but I've recreated it again and it still does the same thing.

Are you saying that is a choice column.

Can you show the full code

Perhaps that is where the problem lies - that is the full code... Unless I'm misunderstanding the question. But that is all I have written in those two fields

CollectionName2:{Value: Textbox.Text}})

If columnName2 is not a choice column:

{CollectionName1: Dropdown1.Selected.Value,

Hi @Anonymous ,

Your steps and code look fine, although I cannot find the cause of the issue, I can post my detailed steps for you reference, please create a new app, and follow my steps to see if the issue is fixed.

1. Unlock the Data Card, delete the Text input box and add the Combo box inside the card
2. Set Combobox.Item: SortByColumns('ListName',"Title") , set Fields to Title
3. Modify the Card.Update: ComboBox1.Selected.Title
4. Modify the ErrorMessage.Y: ComboBox1.Y + ComboBox1.Height

5. Set SharePointIntegration.OnSave:  SubmitForm(SharePointForm1)

Hope this helps.
