Clear Cache OnStart / Refresh Custom Connector

Hello PowerApps Community!

I am using a custom connector to make API calls, and after an hour, I receive a 401:Unauthorized error. The authentication is OAuth2 and users will be using PowerApps on their mobile devices for QC inspections. Is there any way to clear cache OnStart or refresh the connection to the custom connector?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Clear Cache OnStart / Refresh Custom Connector

It would not accept the custom connector as the datasource for the Refresh() function. We did however extend the life of the token by extending the life through Azure portal. Thank you for your reply and suggestions.

Re: Clear Cache OnStart / Refresh Custom Connector

Hi @jc6215 ,

Firstly, I'm afraid there's no way to clear OnStart cache when running an app currently in PowerApps.

Secondly, about refreshing connector, I suggest you try Refresh function.

Try to set a button's OnSelect:

Refresh(datasource)

Please replace data source with your connection's name.

Here's a doc about this function for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-refresh
