Co-dependent ComboBox Filters

I have created the following filter selection page in my app. Each filter works great up to this point. What I would like to do as a final step to optimize the user experience is it to "filter each filter" as the user makes their selections.

Example 1: if a user checks the "Interior" checkbox, then any brand of products that do not offer an "Interior" product would no longer be listed in the "Product Brand" Combobox selection list.

Example 2: The user selects the "Solid" and "Water Based" checkboxes and any "Product Type" that is not available in a  solid waterbased formulation would no longer show up in the "Product Type" ComboBox selection list.

An example of the formula structure in ComboBoxes and Checkboxes are as follows:

ComboBox.OnChange:

UpdateIf(CollPtAPrd,MfgName in CmbPrdBrnd.SelectedItems.Result,{GrpBrd:Value(1)},Not(MfgName in CmbPrdBrnd.SelectedItems.Result),{GrpBrd:Value(0)})

Checkbox.OnCheck:

UpdateIf(CollPtAPrd,Location="Interior",{GrpLoc:Value(1)})

Checkbox.OnUncheck:

UpdateIf(CollPtAPrd,Location="Interior",{GrpLoc:Value(0)})

So the way these filters are working is when you select a given option (say, "Interior"), a "1" is added to an associated numeric  "group" column ("GrpLoc"). Then if you de-select the same option it changes the "1" to a "0". There is then a column that totals all of the numeric "Grpxxx" columns called "GrpTot" then any product with the max value in GrpTot are the avilable options.

So, I am basicallyt trying to achieve what is seen on many shopping websites.

Re: Co-dependent ComboBox Filters

Hi @AGS94

You need to use Filter method based on your selection.  Refer to below link:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-filter-lookup

E.g. Filter( 'SP List', "CHECK BOX VALUE" in 'COLUMN' ) // set this in Items property of combobox / dropdown

Thanks.
