Colleague.DisplayName sometimes return format "i:0#.f | membership | first.last@domain.com"

I am trying to create a simple PowerApp that display person data from a SharePoint list.

I have a SharePoint List with a couple columns, in which one is "Person or Group", and is set to "person only", and does not allow multiple persons to be selected.  Let's call this column name "Colleague"

On my PowerApps, screen, I have a text box, which Text=Colleague.DisplayName

Sometimes when I run the app, it works fine and display the actual DisplayName.

Other times, it displays in the format

  i:0#.f | membership | first.last@domain.com

How can I prevent this?

Hi tChmiel,

Are you sure that you have a text box in PowerApps? As far as I know, you cannot show all the items in a column from a SharePoint list. I don't know how did you do that with a text box. Please help confirm this.

Regards,

Mona

I have a TextBox.Text = Colleague.DisplayName, where Colleague is the name of the person or group column in SharePoint. (this column does not allow multiple persons to be chosen).  The value display is in the textbox is:

"i:0#.f | membership | first.last@domain.com, rather than [first] [last].  It is the current person, but the format of the display is not correct.

I am not sure what you are asking.  What does "you cannot show all the items in a column"?  If you are asking if I tried to concatenate multiple sharepoint columns into one textbox, I did not.
