Collect and ClearCollect with DropColumns and ShowColumns strange results

Looking at the examples for DropColumns and ShowColumns in the documentation, it is clear that they perform correctly, however, performing a Collect(NewCollection, DropColumns(Table,"ColumnToBeSuppressed")) results in a collection "NewCollection" that still has the "ColumnToBeSupressed", but with its content cleared.  This is not what the example shows, and what I need is the Column not to exist anymore in the new collection.

The same problem exists with ShowColumns, the Columns that are "not shown" are still there, but with their content cleared.  Once more, this is not the behavior expected looking at the examples.

Anyone has an idea as to why I get this behavior?

Thanks,

Olivier

After further investigation, it works correctly.  I had another instance of the NewCollection that kept the original table format.
