Hello everyone,
I am new on powerapps and created a survey app that I want to share with the rest of my company and get the results from the users.
However I can't seem to find how to collect the results of the users on a sharepoint list ou Excel file without giving them writing access (which would be a security problem as they could have access to the results of others and modify other parts of the sharepoint)
Is there a way to do it ?
Thanks !
Baudouin

Yep--create a new list and share only that list with users

then have the flow create the item in the master list
No reason you have to have the app write directly to the primary sharepoint list. Create a list that the app writes to as a staging list, then have an automated flow owned by a system admin that runs when an item is created in that list and write it to list B. You could then have the flow delete the item from list A.
that way the user can submit an answer but not have direct access to the primary list
@Baudouin if this answers your question please mark it a solution.
Thank you for your quick reply, I will try it and see if it works !
Just to be sure I would have to create an entirely new sharepoint for the stagging list or is it possible to only give writing access to a specific list on a sharepoint but not to the rest of it ?
Thanks
