Combine SubmitForm with Patch for Attachments

Hello I try to combine SubmitForm() with Patch() Function. Why I need this?

  • Forms Control in Edit Mode alone do not cover my requirements
  • Patch alone is not able to upload Attachments to SharePoint List

So I try to combine:

SubmitForm(ReiseForm);;
Patch(
    Reisenerstattung_1;
    ReiseForm.LastSubmit;
    {
        Title: User().Email;
        Projekt: ReiseProject.Selected.'Projekttitel kurz (Ordnername)';
        Beginn: ReiseBegin.SelectedDate;
        Ende: ReiseEnd.SelectedDate;
        Ziel: ReiseDestination.Text;
        Anlass: ReiseReason.Text;
        Fahrtkosten: Value(ReiseRide.Text);
        Übernachtungskosten: Value(ReiseAccommodation.Text);
        Nebenkosten: Value(ReiseAdditional.Text)
    }
);;
Navigate(Success)

I successfully tested Patch() and SubmitForm() for my SharePoint List, but the combine do simply nothing. No new entry in List. No error response.

I think one possible reason for that behavior could be required values in my SharePoint List. So I take all required values off. The last required value is the Title. Maybe this column block a SubmitForm()?

What can I do for investigation?

Hi @Nusserdt ,

Do you mean the submitform() won't work either? What is the EidtForm used for?

Your assumption is right, the Required Title column must be included into the Form.

To submit the User().Email to Title column, try to unlock the Title Data Card, set Update property to User().Email, and set visible to false. Then the form should work.

Hope this helps.
