Combining Search and Filter By Choices Data Type

Hi,

I'm making an App to showcase different in-house applications. I currently have the ability to search on an application based on its name, but I would also like the filter the search based on a specific disciplines the app relates to.

I'm able to get the singular Search to work below , but the commented code with both the search and filter doesn't seem filter the by discipline choice, by the items selected within the combo box.

/*Search(
   Filter( 'General App Infos', 'Discipline Choices' = disciplineFilter.SelectedItems),
   FilterTextBox.Text,
   "cr897_applicationname"
)*/

Search('General App Infos',FilterTextBox.Text,"cr897_applicationname")

I'm using CDS and currently have the discipline choices set to a "Choices" text field. Below is how the data structure is currently setup.

Is there a way to incorporate both these to search and filter items? Thank you in advance.

Hi @msze400 ,

Assuming this is a single choice, try

Search(
   Filter(
      'General App Infos',
      disiciplineFilter.SelectedItems in 'Displine Choices'.Value
   ),
   FilterTextBox.Text,
   "cr897_applicationname"
)
