Combo Box selections depend on choices made in other combo box

Hello,

Is there a formula i could use on a Combo Box that will automatically populate depending on a choice made from another combo box?

For example, if user selects items from combo box 1, the combo box 3 to display "LDR".  If combo box 1 is empty then "LDR" to be unselected.

Combo box 2 has a selection, then combo box 3 to select "Admin".

hope that makes sense.

thanks

Hi @neill_long ,

So the logic for default select item of Combo box 3 is:

If combo box 2 has a selection, Admin, combo box 1 has a selection, LDR, if combo box 2 and 3 are both blank, then blank.

So the formula should be:

If(!IsBlank(Combobox2.Selected), "Admin" , If(!IsBlank(Combobox1.Selected), "LDR", Blank()))

Hope this helps.

You would need to set the DefaultSelectedItems Property for ComboBox3.  Something like this:   The [ ] are required as they indicate a record which is what the Combobox is looking for.

If(
  !IsBlank(ComboBox1), ["LDR"],
  !(IsBlank(ComboBox2), ["Admin"]
)
