ComboBox Allow Search

Hello,

I have a ComboBox with Items: Distinct(Sort(Filter('Details','Department name'=First(ComboBox1.SelectedItems).Result),EName,Ascending),EName)

I'm trying to set Combobox searchable, but we can not do that with the filter function. Is there any other way or I'm missing something?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Omi

Skip the collections!

Please consider changing your Formula to the following:

With({_itms: Distinct(Sort(Filter('Details','Department name'= First(ComboBox1.SelectedItems).Result), EName),EName)},
   _itms
)

I hope this is helpful for you.

@omi18 It's NOT Filter but the Distinct function that is not allowing the Search to be turned on. If you can avoid Distinct do that or if collect the whole thing into a collection and add that collection as the Datasource for the Combobox it will work, e.g you could have the following code in the OnChange of you'r ComboBox1,

ClearCollect(myCollection, Distinct(Sort(Filter('Details','Department name'=First(ComboBox1.SelectedItems).Result),EName,Ascending),EName))
