ComboBox Fill Item Datasource

I am having a horrible time trying to filter a datasource and filling a ComboBox. Is that not possible? I prefer the ComboBox method of choosing multiple items than a list box or check boxes.

Using this on my Items property of ComboBox:

Filter('Lunch Configuration', Menu_Dropdown.Selected.Value = Menu_x0020_Option.Value, Entree_DataCardKey.Text = MenuItemType.Value)

'Lunch Configuration' is a simple SharePoint Online list that has 4 columns:

Menu Option, Title, Menu Item Type, Price

With the filter, the ComboBox returns empty values/rows and nothing searches.  Under the combo boxes properties, I can only choose Title as Primary Text and the SearchField box will not drop down.

I only want the ComboBox to search a specific subset of items in the list with a pre-filter applied.

I tried using a Filter() in the Items property of the ComboBox and it worked as expected.

As for your case, are you sure that your Filter() function actually returns rows? Try creating a gallery and using the same code for its Items property. If you can see records, then the problem is with your ComboBox config. If you can't see any rows, the problem might be with the conditions in your Filter() function.
