Combobox defaultselecteditems lookup not working with last item from gallery

Hi,

I have Gallery with an edit function. Edit sends to Editform with possibility to edit data and save.

I have a combobox to search/change "projects". When I select last item in my gallery and edit, the combobox has no value. If I start by selecting the first item everything works fine.

Once one selection has been made, everything works fine.

I see that my lookup takes just half of a second to fetch data.

Could i change the way I fill my combobox with the selected data or how would I get around this glitch?

Code on edit pencil icon: EditForm(ProjWorkFormE);Navigate(ProjWorkEdit)

Code on DefaultSelectedItems: LookUp('[dbo].[ProjTable]',Number = ThisItem.Number)

See capture of behavior in gif below.

Re: Combobox defaultselecteditems lookup not working with last item from gallery

Hi @MadW ,

Could you show me more settings about project combo box ,like the combo box's Items, the datacard's Default, etc?

The formulas that you showed me have no error.

Could you tell me how large is your table?

Are you sure the last item's project value has updated successfully?

Try to set the DefaultSelectedItems:

ThisItem.Project

Re: Combobox defaultselecteditems lookup not working with last item from gallery

Hi,

Sorry for my very late response. I was sure I did press send on reply days ago.

Table is very small, maybe 10 rows in it. It is an Azure SQL database.

Combobox items is: '[dbo].[ProjTable]'

Datacard default is: ThisItem.Number

Changing default on combobox to ThisItem.Number gives me error. It seems it expects a collection or something.

I am guessing that this error is some combination with fetching data from the SQL server.
