Combobox dropdown list starting point after first selected choice?

I have a Combobox with entries from SQL table House column. In SQL table there is also Index column indicating an index number for House.

If I use the Combobox and my first selection is House55 with index nr 55, can I affect the default point for the dropdown list when choosing the next entry; so the long dropdown list would now begin from House55?

I assume this is possible, but how?

Hi @Finnair ,

I assume there is a data source:

Collect(
    TheDataSource,
    ForAll(Sequence(100,1,1),{Title:"House"&Value,nr:Value})
)

1\Set the apps OnStart property to:

Set(CountNr,0)

2\Set the combo box's

item

Filter(TheDataSource,nr>=CountNr)

OnChange

Set(CountNr,Self.Selected.nr)

I get the impression that you are doing a cascading dropdown. If that is the case, kindly show the Items property of the Combobox and the dropdown.

Also this tutorial might help:

No, only one.

The case:

If you have Combobox, the dropdown "floating" list begins always from the first item, even if you have chosen something and choose again after  that. Default or DefaulSelectedItems value don't affect this. So, if the list is long, you always have to scroll the dropdown's list from the begining.

Do you want to show the selected item as the default?

What formula do you have on the items property of the combobox
