In my Data -> Entities there is a Position object. Doing some searching online, I believe I found the description of this entity here:
What I am confused about is this mention of "Exchange Rate" and "Currency", which seems out of place for a "
Position of a user in the hierarchy" ... does this mean "Salary" by chance?
If there are any good resources that you can share to give more context around these entities and their fields it would be greatly appreciated.
For the Position under Common Data Service, the document should be:
The structure of the Human resources is documented in:
Further, for the Position under the Dyanmics 365 , you should check the following articles for more details about the Position entity you found under Dynamics 365, and I don't think it should mean "Salary":
Awesome, thank you for those linke @v-micsh-msft. That does provide a little more context.
As for "Exchange Rate" and "Currency", seeing on how these fields are in Common Data Service, it would seem that they would be provided a little more explanation there (but they are of course not). I apologize, but I could not find any more context around these fields in your provided links. Do you have an exact link that does have more information?
Thanks again for your assistance!
I just got an email ping from your service @v-micsh-msft asking if I have gotten an answer to this question, so I am passing it on to you. 😉 I am still interested in learning more about Currency and Exchange Rate and how they relate to this entity (and others?). Thank you in advance for any assistance.
