Compare and hard code data to people picker column

I have a SharePoint with two people picker columns, Column 1 with 6 Names and column 2 with repeated names,
I am trying to hard code the data of these people picker column to form1 and this data will be saved to a different SPList2, when I select a name from people picker1 should check the value from the SPList1 column 2, I have a collection named PPCol which collect the SPList1.
For Example, SPlist1 column 1 is usernameL1 should match to column 2 usernameD2, When I choose the people picker from the list Username1 should automatically enter the name as usernameD2 and once I submit the form it should update the names to the SPList2

Items property of DataCardValue88 is Distinct(PPCol ,'Column1'.DisplayName)
Items property of DataCardValue87 is Distinct(PPCol ,'Column2'.DisplayName)

Hi @Veera0612 ,

Could you please share a screenshot of the SP2 with some sample data to explain more clearly? Does one manager corresponding to one HR and an HR corresponding to many managers, or the opposite?

If an HR corresponding to many managers

HR Combo box DefaultSelectedItems could be:

LookUp(SPlist2, Manager.DisplayName = ManagerCombobox.Selected.DisplayName, HR)

If a manage corresponding to many HRs

vjefferni_1-1684746026005.png

HR Combo box DefaultSelectedItems could be:

Filter(SPlist2, Manager.DisplayName = ManagerCombobox.Selected.DisplayName).HR

In this case this HR combo box need to allow multiple selections.

Hi @Veera0612 ,

Please try below formulas:

DataCardValue87 Items:

Choices(SPList1.'Column2')

DataCardValue87 DefaultSelectedItems:

LookUp(SPlist1, Column2.DisplayName = DataCardValue88.Selected.Value)

Update of Data Card where includes DataCardValue87:

DataCardValue87.Selected

@v-jefferni  Thank you for your response, When I try the item its weird that the people picker column is just show me the values of generic search information and not the choices column, But when I use Distinct(PPCol, 'column2'.DisplayName) shows the list.
Again this column is not choices column these are people picker column that contains the names.
Choices(SPList1.'Column2')

Hi @Veera0612 ,

Only allows to search and pick people is the default behavior of SharePoint People column. The Problem is updating values to SP people column requires user Emails rather than DisplayName values. You mentioned that people in column 2 should be populated in the Combo box automatically. So, as I said previously,

Items of DataCardValue87

Choices(SPList1.'Column2')

DataCardValue87 DefaultSelectedItems:

LookUp(SPlist1, Column1.DisplayName = DataCardValue88.Selected.Value).Column2

DefaultSelectedItems of the Combo box will help find the same people based on the selected people in column1 and populate it to column 2 Combo box automatically.

I couldn't get what I needed,
Let me explain,

  1. I have a form from SP1 with two people picker columns,
  2. A SharePoint list SP2 will have 2 People picker columns, column one contains manager name, and the other column to its respective HR names (These will be of repeated names).
  3. I wanted to hard code these two people picker columns on the form that shows manager name and HR names.
  4. When I select a manager name the HR name field should check the SP2 and get the HR names respective to its manager name.
