Hi all!

Is there a way to complete an approval action from within PowerApps for the connected Microsoft Flow workflow?

Kind Regards,

Dayna

Hi,

As far as I understand from your query,

You can create and approve button and sets the variable -

UpdateContext({varAction:"APPROVE"});SubmitForm(EditForm1)

On the edit form, you can sets the defualt value of your actiontaken field to "varAction"

Then in the flow, you can use this field -actiontaken and runs the flow.

Hi @DaynaLitherland,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to complete a approval request sent from a flow within a PowerApps app?

The user @hilary_stoupa has faced same issue with you, please check the response within the following thread:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Complete-Approval-Flow-from-PowerApps/td-p/11...

If you want to complete an approval request sent from a flow within a PowerApps app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

Best regards,

Kris
