Composite control?

Is it possible to create composite control by using existing basic out of the box or third party controls such as text boxes, drop down, calendar etc?

If so can someone pls share any examples of how can it be done?

Hi @sandeep_rp1 :

Yes.You can create a cusotom composite control by creating a component.I'v made a test for your reference.

I suppose I want to create a Component (with two input boxes) that calculates dadition.

1\Navigate to "Tree View"-"Components"

1.jpg

2\Add two Text Input controls(TextInput1/2)

3\Add a New Custom property-Result

1.jpg

4\Set the component's Result Property to

Value(TextInput1.Text)+Value(TextInput2.Text)

2.JPG

5\Go back to your app and add this component-Component1_1

6\Add a label control to display the output of the component

Text

Component1_1.Result

I think this link will help you a lot:

Check out the PCF Gallery.  There are lots of composite controls such as most (if not all) the address examples:
