Concerns RE Sharing with Externals (PowerApps Portal)

Hey,

As you may have seen the PowerApps Portal is now available in Preview which allows for sharing apps with externals.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerapps-portals-is-now-available-for-public-preview/

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/overview

  • Is there a way to turn this off tenant-wide??
  • What licenses are required for users to do this?

We probably do not want our people to be able to set up a portal and share apps with externals...

Re: Concerns RE Sharing with Externals (PowerApps Portal)

Hi @DanielaHo

You must have System Administrator or at least System Customizer role in Common Data Service to create a portal. You must also have the Access Mode set to Read-Write under Client Access License (CAL) Information in the user record.

 Best Regards.
