Connect On-Premises CRM for CRUD

Hello,

What is the best way to connect On-Premises CRM for CRUD (Create,Read,Update,Delete)?
I can see that we can connect directly to the SQL but I dont think that it is advisable to insert/update records directly to the DB

Hi bpini,

Currently, we are able to connect to On-Premise SQL server and On-Premise SharePoint.

About connecting to On-Premise CRM, there is a similar request on PowerApps Ideas Forum, please consider to vote the idea at here:

Once we create a connection to On-Premise SQL server, we are able to update/insert records to tables. You could consider to use functions such as SubmitForm, Patch, etc. to update record to data source.

Is there a way to actually insert to CRM on prem.

I see there is an idea for a connector but it seems even with a custom entity specifically for data entry directly into our CRM system.

I know primary key is a prequisite but the created entity does have a primary key by default provided from CRM.

Is it just not possible right now to write records to CRM on prem until a connector?
