Connect with Sharepoint list.

Hi,

I need help related to formulating a conditional instruction. I built the calendar and connected it to the data source: list Sharepoint. I would like to display information about an event from the days chosen by the user by clicking on the calendar.

Do you have any idea how to solve the problem of assigning a day to the list of events?

Appreciate all help

Mateusz

Re: Connect with Sharepoint list.

Hi @mprekiel

Could you please share a bit more about your SP list? Is it a Calendar event list?

How do you build the Calendar within your app? Do you add Calendar screen within your app?

If you want to display information about an event from the days chosen by the user by clicking on the calendar, I have made a test on my side (add a Calender screen within my app), please take a try with the following workaround:1.JPG

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following formula:

/*Shows events only on selected date*/
SortByColumns(
Filter('20181114_Calendar', Text('Start Time',"[$-en-US]mm/dd/yyyy") = Text(_dateSelected, "[$-en-US]mm/dd/yyyy")), "EventDate"
)

On your side, you should type:

/*Shows events only on selected date*/
SortByColumns(
      Filter('YourEventList', Text('Start Time',"[$-en-US]mm/dd/yyyy") = Text(_dateSelected, "[$-en-US]mm/dd/yyyy")),         "EventDate"
)

Note: The _dateSelected represents the selected date from the Calendar within your app.

In addition, due to time zone issue, you may not get proper SP event lists for the specific date (that you selected from the Calendar), please make sure that the Time Zone of your SP Calendar Event list is the same as your local Time Zone.

When working date times within PowerApps, the date time values would be converted into UTC format automatically.

Best regards,

Kris
