Connection to O365 Slow in Power Apps Worktray

Hi there

 

I've built a worktray to enable write to the DB and in the worktray there is a field which auto populates the users name from a connection to O365.

 

On a number of occasions when selecting an ID from the gallery (and then that opens the worktray), the users profile name from O365 doesnt show, however on majority of occasions it does. If you wait about 10 seconds from it not intially showing it will then appear. Is this a known issue for O365 in Apps for the connection to be slow on occasion. If there wasa  fundamental issue with it the username would never appear, however its being questioned 😞

Hi @KarenF ,

You can populate the User's name with the built-in function User().FullName and you will find this works very quickly.
