Connector Credential Question

Hello,

I am running a PowerApp that pulls data from a sharepoint list and displays it on a TV. I have a script running that refreshes the webpage every 5 hours to avoid the session timeout. The account that's used to log into 0365 is a service account. Unlike flow, I believe the connector will use the current user's credentials, in this case the service account. If the service account's password gets changed, should the app still work?

If it does still work, each time the data refreshes, 'refresh(SharePointListdata)' will it pass incorrect credentials and get the account locked?

Thanks! 🙂

If the password is changed for the service account, the connection will become invalid.  You will need to update the connection with the correct password for the application to continue working.
