Hello,
I have encountered the following problem for a while now and been waiting for it to get fixed but I haven't seen much discussion on it. I am trying to build a responsible application and everything is working just fine except for when I place a Container Inside a Horizontal or Vertical Container. Take a look at the following images for better context:
Here is my set up for the following scenario. I am placing a Horizontal Container (Gray-colored) with 2 normal Containers Inside it (Orange colored). I have placed an image on both containers to have a better context of what happens to the items when the application bugs out:
Next, here is a screenshot of what the application looks like during the preview mode. Everything works just fine on this screen.
Unfortunately, here is what the application looks like when I am running the published version:
As you can see from the image, all of my elements, which were pictures in this case, disappeared. This was also tested on a brand new application and on entirely different Environments and they all yielded the same result. I also have these additional examples of how this bug affects applications:
Editor Version:
Published Version:
Here is a list of behaviors I noticed when this bug occurs:
Let me know if anyone has a solution to this or if the Power Apps Team is already working on it. We are trying to develop fully functional responsible applications but we can't do that if this might be a bug that breaks applications in the future.
UPDATE: It seems Canvases are also affected by this. I attempted to replace the container with a scrollable canvas but it still had the same issue as when I was using regular containers. The problem only started after I activated Wrap on the Horizontal column container.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Anonymous :

@v-bofeng-msft Awesome, thanks for doing that. Is there a portal where I can do that in the future? I kept looking for one but all I could find was this forum.
Hi @Anonymous :
You can post your ideas to the idea forum or consider creating a support ticket.
Best Regards,
