Conversion of String to Collection/Table

I am reading excel data to powerapps using Power automate, trying to return the datatable as an output variable. Since table or array is not one of the supported return types from Power automate, I am converting the datatable to String using string() function in the flow. The output from the flow looks something like :

[{\"@odata.etag\":\"\",\"ItemInternalId\":\"9094dee0-283d-4091-aa13-ca3a0bf1afcf\",\"Name\":\"Sravya Bollineni\",\"Employee Alias\":\"srbollin@microsoft.com\",\"Gift Card Code\":\"YKY4-WSZAW3-FVN2\",\"Reference ID\":\"'6014853089037510\",\"Amount\":\"500\"},{\"@odata.etag\":\"\",\"ItemInternalId\":\"8d655149-2001-4840-b85a-deb2d3a42b3b\",\"Name\":\"Sai Phani\",\"Employee Alias\":\"saiphani@microsoft.com\",\"Gift Card Code\":\"YKY4-WSZAW3-FVR3\",\"Reference ID\":\"6014463089037510\",\"Amount\":\"500\"}]

Now, I am required to convert this response to a valid collection in the Apps. I do not see any difference in the format using JSON(the above value). How do I convert this to a datatable or a collection which I can loop through. Any help much appreciated!!!!

Have you tried  to generate a schema from your excel payload and pass it back to PowerApps using a the response connector?

Hey @JordanDeVan,

Thanks for responding. I framed a response schema within the flow and tried sending it to PowerApps using the HttpResponse action. That worked 🙂
