Copy and paste hyperlinks in multiline Text box

I have issue of adding comments in PowerApps multiline text with  functionality to insert links. When we paste links it pushes it as plain text to SharePoint Lists or Power Automate notifications. Is there a way that we can isolate links from the other text inputs and show it as hyperlink markup to make it clickable hyperlink within the comment, without using Rich Text box.

Hi @Zek .

No - that is why it is plain text. If you add the <a href= . . . syntax (which would look ugly), it should resolve in a HTML box with the content.

Thanks @WarrenBelz for your quick reply, I was not able to connect Text with HTML box dynamically. Users copy & insert link in Text box but wanted to see clickable hyperlink in notification/list. I was looking for some logic that may isolate the link text that starts with http... & add <a href=...> syntax to show out put as hyperlink. Any support in that line is highly appreciated.

Hi @Zek ,

You would need to find the http in the string and determine the position of the space after it and get the bit in the middle - something like

With(
   {
      wFirst:
      Last(
         Split(
            YourTextHere,
            "http"
         )
      ).Result
   },
   "<a href='http" &
   Left(
      wFirst,
      Find(
         " ",
         wFirst
      ) - 1
   )
) & "'>Click on Link</a>"
