I have a Active Business Rule for a Common Database Entity in a Model Driven App. I can see the components (conditions/actions) but there is nothing showing in the text view. I'm unable to deactivate or edit the rule.
When I try to save a new record I get the error "String was not recognized as a valid Boolean".
How do I fix this problem?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The solution was provided by Microsoft Support: Settings Gear> Advanced Settings> Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Entities > [Entity Name] > Business Rules > Select offending Rule >Deactivate.
All good now.
Hello,
Please check if your business rule is inside a managed solution. It may not allow you to edit the business rule, if its part of a managed solution.
Thanks for the suggestion but It's not inside a Managed Solution. Also, the other rules are fine.
The solution was provided by Microsoft Support: Settings Gear> Advanced Settings> Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Entities > [Entity Name] > Business Rules > Select offending Rule >Deactivate.
All good now.
