I am currently creasting an app so that employees can book absence - the absence is saved to a sharepoint list and exported to an excel file which is then imported into the main HRIS (has no app capabilities) - this works fine except I have to have a Staff Number on the sharepoint list for the import to work (onto the HRIS) is there any way I can pull the staff_number into the app and save it back to the sharepoint list - could I create an excel file with all the staff numbers and pull it in form there and how would I make sure it only pulled in the staff number for the prson booking the absence. Any ideas would be gret. All the staff number re currently on the main HRIS

You need a master table of Staff in your SP or any other place which can be used in PowerApps.
Then save the Staff No. along with the absence data.
Yes I did that but I am unsure how to bring the number into the form that books leave as the form is linked to a different sharepoint list and then how to save the staff number field to the different sharepoint list. Many thanks I am learning as I go along.
