Creating an app with sharepoint data textbox

Hi,

I am new to Power apps. The problem is that i can't seem to find out how i can save the data from my Screen (form) to the database on sharepoint. I have a textbox and combobox that i want to connect to the database. I created the database connection and it is visible in the left pane so that works.

I now have a textbox, this text should be written to my Sharepoint data. The same accounts for my combobox that i want to fill from the Database so the use can select the data and then save it to the database.

All saving should be done on buttonclick.

Can anyone tell me on how to save the data to the existing database?

Furthermore i want to know how i can add new records to my existing database when i have the above working.

Re: Creating an app with sharepoint data textbox

The easiest way to do that is using the Patch() function.  Depending on what you specify in the second parameter you can either create new records or update existing records.  Here's a video that explains how Patch() works.

Hi @Racime ,

Have you solved your problem?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Patch function could achieve your needs. Please check and see if the following video would help in your scenario:
