Creating one dropdown from SharePoint lookup columns

Hi,

I have two lookup columns in SharePoint List (MasterID:Inspector1 and MasterID:Inspector2)

Is there any way that I can use these two columns in one dropdown in my EditScreen Form?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

May

Hi @mayarnaldo ,

Do you want to display two lookup fields in one drop down?

Could you tell me:

1)two lookup fields name?

2)lookup field1 looks up to which field in which column?

3)lookup field2 looks up to which field in which column?

4)the relationship between these two lookup fields?

5)after you select values in this drop down, which field do you want to update?

Since I do not quite understand your meaning, I suggest you post your screenshoots to describe.

What's more, if you want to display two fields value in one selections, I suggest you use combo box, which could set two fields as primary text.

Hi @v-yutliu-msft

Thank you for your reply.

There are two Sharepoint list: Master List and Detailed List.

1)two lookup fields name? MasterID:Inspector1 and MasterID:Inspector2

2)lookup field1 looks up to which field in which column? MasterID:Inspector1 looks up in the master list with primary inspector name

3)lookup field2 looks up to which field in which column? MasterID:Inspector2 looks up in the master list with secondary inspector name

4)the relationship between these two lookup fields? They are input from the Master List with Inspection Title and Inspection ID which is a lookup column also in Detailed list.

5)after you select values in this drop down, which field do you want to update? In the Detailed List, there's a Inspector column that suppose to be a dropdown which the user can choose if they are with Primary inspector or Secondary inspector.

I tried to use combobox but it seems lookup column is not showing in the edit fields.

Hope I make it clear. Thank you again.
