Hi @Anonymous ,

1)Do you want to use 'Actual Page' field and 'Remaining Page' field as labels of the pie chart?
I'm afraid it's not supported to use two fields as a pie chart's labels.

One pie chart could only use one field as labels.

You could set it here:

6245.PNG

2)Where do you want  to display  the sum of ActualPage, MaxPage ?

Do you want to calculate the sum of ActualPage, MaxPage of the items in one pie chart?

Please notice that it's not supported to insert a label inside a pic chart .

You could insert some labels outside the pie chart to display the sum results that you want.

You just need to set the label's Text like this:

Sum(table,fieldname)
//the table is the items in the pie chart

sum of ActualPage in table1 should use formula like this:

Sum(Filter(...,Date>=DatePicker1.SelectedDate, Date<=DatePicker2.SelectedDate),
ActualPage)

sum of MaxPage in table1 should use formula like this:

Sum(Filter(...,Date>=DatePicker1.SelectedDate, Date<=DatePicker2.SelectedDate),
MaxPage)

Hi @v-yutliu-msft

Thank you for you response.

So my data doesn't have Label now. How do we display this kind of data in piechart with new label?

TotalPages:

MaxPages/Month = Sum(MaxPage) = Sum(ActualPage) + Sum(RemainingPage)

ActualPage/Month = Sum(ActualPage)

RemainingPage/Month = Sum(RemainingPage)

How do I display the data in piechart?

My Table Name is KPOPageLimitEntities: I wrote the below formula to get the sumofActualPage. But No luck

Sum(Filter(KPOPageLimitEntities,Date>=DatePicker2_1.SelectedDate, Date<=DatePicker2_2.SelectedDate), ActualPage)

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you tell me the fields' data type in your CDS?
Actually, it seems that there's no error in the formula that you provided.

If ActualPage is text type, you need to transfer it to number to calculate.

Try this:

Sum(
  Filter(KPOPageLimitEntities,Date>=DatePicker2_1.SelectedDate,
                              Date<=DatePicker2_2.SelectedDate),
Value(ActualPage)
)

If you just want to add a label to display the sum of ActualPage below the pie chart, you just need to add a label control and move it below the pie chart.

Please notice that the pie chart's labels could only be the data of the pic chart's Items.

Hi @v-yutliu-msft

Earlier CDS-KPOPageLimitEntity was like this

Field NameDatatype
IDAutonumber
DateDateOnly
ActualPageWholenumber
RemainingPageWholenumber

Since I don't have Label in the above datasource, I couldn't make proper piechart. So I updated my Entity with the following fields

Field NameDatatype
IDAutonumber
DateDateOnly
ActualPageWholenumber
RemainingPageWholenumber - Removed
CategoryOptionset(Completed,Remaining) - Added

My current Dashboard is:

Ambiga_0-1593153855248.png

Able to show the data in Piechart.

  1. But unable to group category in Dashboard 1 - So What formula need to be used for items in PieChart1.
  2. While assigning the Label I have add Filter for the following:
    • Selected Date and Category = "Completed"
    • Selected Date and Category = "Remaining"

Formula I have used for only for Date Filter is working fine: Dashboard 1 Items formula:

Sum(Filter(KPOPageLimitEntities, Date>=DatePicker2.SelectedDate, Date<=DatePicker3.SelectedDate), Value(ActualPage))

How to include Category in that filter: Can you please help me with the formula?

Facing Error after selecting date in DatePicker2 and DatePicker3:

Formula usedItems in PieChart : Filter(KPOPageLimitEntities, (Date >= DatePicker2.SelectedDate && Date <= DatePicker3.SelectedDate))

Error: the requested operation is invalid. Server Response failed. The right side of the GreaterThanOrEqual operator cannot be NULL

Records were displayed incorrectly in the PieChart:  Consider there are 2 records available in date 1/6/2020.

When I select 1/6/2020 in both DatePicker2 and DatePicker3, then I have only one record in Piechart.

the same happening in Count as well.
