Credentials are missing or not valid. inner exception. credentials provided for SQL invalid

Hi All,

I am trying to make a connection to on premise database with windows credintials with no luck. It fails with this message.

Credentials are missing or not valid. inner exception: The credentials provided for the SQL source are invalid

I set up an SQL User and used basic and was was able to connect.

Any help for why Windows account is not working with flow

Using the same windows account I did not have any issues with SSMS on premise.

the Windows account was used to create the database,  add the table and the SQL user that works with flow .

thanks

Mark.

Credentials are missing or not valid.
inner exception: The credentials provided for the SQL source are invalid. (Source at laptop-pop1bchs;master.)
clientRequestId: 20558ffe-7bab-493a-80bd-99330be47dde
Facing the above error while connecting to SQL Server even if the credentials are correct. And can connect to SSMS with the same credentials.

Old topic but I just spent an hour on this so figured I'd post... the issue is that the Azure Postgres security settings enforces SSL by default, but the PowerApps connector obviously doesn't support SSL. Turn off "enforce SSL connection" under "Connection security" for your Azure Postgres instance and you should be good to go. Worked for me at least.

The following settings work for me:

1) Set "Allow access to Azure services" to "Yes"

2) Set "Enforce SSL connection" to "DISABLED"

Both settings are under Connection Security of your PG database

For anybody looking at this still, my problem was that I was not the owner of the connection. The credentials needed to be reset, and I didn't have permission to edit.

So if you go in to the "Share" option on the connection, try to find your own email to see what sort of permissions are set on your user for that specific connection.

I got it working on my end by using the Windows Authentication (vs Server Authentication) and also using the <Domain Name>\<AD user name> with my AD password to connect (Add Connection). It worked like a charm. thanks for the hint to use the Domain name:)

Same here, got it solved by switching to Windows Authentication, but still love to understand how to get it working with SQL Server Authentication...

I'm facing the same issue. I tried using domain name and AD user name with Windows Authentication and still no success.

I'm wondering if I am using the right domain name / AD user name. Is there a good place to confirm which to use? Also is the AD password the same as office login password? I would assume so but just can't figure out why I can't get this to work.

Thanks!
