Custom connector Generic OAuth 2 not using prompt=select_account

I have set up a custom connector to use the generic OAuth 2.0 authentication.

When I click "switch account" for this connection it redirects to a URL like below:

/connect/authorize?client_id=theid&response_type=code&redirect_uri=theredirect&scope=api+offline_access&state=thestate

Compare this to the redirect URL used when switching account for the Office 365 connector:

/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=theid&response_type=code&redirect_uri=theredirect&resource=theresource&prompt=select_account&state=thestate

The Office 365 connector adds the prompt url argument which allows the user to pick a different account. The generic OAuth 2.0 authentication does not add this property so it just logs the user straight in with the account they last selected.

How can I get the Generic OAuth 2.0 authentication to add the prompt argument?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you want to save OAuth 2.0 authentication to make user could select account to log in?

When you a create a custom connector configured with an authentication type of generic Oauth 2.0, Oauth 2.0 for specific services or Basic authentication, by default the PowerApp user will be prompted to provide credentials so the app can create a connection.

I'm afraid it's not supported to save OAuth 2.0 authentication by using this kind of  authentication method.

Here's a doc about this  this kind of  authentication method for your reference:

https://oauth.net/2/
