Custom connector or Available Oracle connector and Pricing

Hello All,

We are going to connect the datasource (Oracle 11).

Is it good to write our Own custom connector or to use the Available Premium Oracle connector?

I have following queries:

1.) In case of attached plan (PFA), do we have to pay the money to use the Oracle premium connector or its free?

2.) If free then are the listed limitations are only limitations like wont be able to use stored Proc, composit key, nested objects

[Link ]

3.) If not free then can I get Pricing information

Re: Custom connector or Available Oracle connector and Pricing

Hi @tanvis2011

The Office E5 do not allow us to connect to Oracle because the Oracle Connector is a premium connector.

To use Oracle, you would need to subscribe to a 'per user' or 'per app' plan. This starts at $10/user/month.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

I would start by using the built in Oracle connector, and then resort to building a custom connector to overcome any issues that might arise (eg performance tuning).

The link that you found there pretty much summarizes the main limitations.
